Our Mission
Our mission is to share and "walk the walk" reflecting the love of Jesus Christ among our church family, in the community, and the world around us. We strongly believe that our guide for life is the Bible's written word and the Holy Spirit working in each of us.

We strive for Sunday worship that is meaningful and spiritual. Our priorities are to give spiritual support to our church family members and to reach out to others . We like food and fun together! To God is the glory!

Our church family values include: Faith, Hope, and Joy in our daily lives; welcoming others; showing care and compassion; nurturing growth in each others' spiritual lives; responding to people's needs and age changes; economically living within the budget of the church while extending as much as we can to help others.

We have a long, proud history of serving the people of Hysham and the surrounding communities. Through the dedication of our leadership and many volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message. Who We Are
The church family of Hysham Community Presbyterian Church believe in the power of prayer. We have a faithful core congregation. The Presbytery acts as a beacon for us when we need guidance in operations of the church. We value leadership that is caring and compassionate.

Every year, activities like Holiday food baskets for local needy families, Valentine's Breakfast or Dinner, Easter Sunrise Service, Ice Cream Social, Church in the Park, and other fun has added friendship and unity in church life. Children at worship and families attending our church activities are among our greatest joys.

Church members share their time and talents as best they can for worship services and when their help is called upon. Our church work, in the rural community, fills a big gap in social and support services. An active women's group, Deacons, Elders, and many others glorify the Lord with hard work and often with food. We provide assistance with funeral preparations and meals, church and manse maintenance, plus support to community members in the hospital. A community food pantry for those in need is managed through the Deacons of our church. The Deacons are also responsible for sharing prayer requests with our members to pray for any who need it.
